ISG was co-founded by former Congressman Heath Shuler (D-NC) (a former Blue Dog member) and Jim Murphy (a long-time Republican operative in Washington, D.C. and former National Political Director for President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign). The two firms will cross-pollinate their projects with talent from each firm as the need for specific expertise arises.
